About SBN Network

Who We Are

The SUN (Scaling Up Nutrition) Business Network (SBN) is one of the key networks under the global SUN Movement agenda. The objective of SBN is to enhance and inspire collective action among private sector companies towards investing and actively engaging in Malawi government efforts in fighting against malnutrition in Malawi.
The role of the private sector in nutrition is identified as critical in the Malawi nutrition agenda as stipulated in the Malawi National Multisector Nutrition Policy 2018-2022 where the role of private sector is has clearly been highlighted. In Malawi the SBN network operates under the leadership and guidance of Department of Nutrition, HIV and AIDS as the convener for SUN and with financial and technical coordination support from World Food Programme as national convener for SBN Malawi.

SUN Donors Network

SBN Malawi will work with the academia to encourage research for continuous nutrition innovations through partnerships with the academia in Malawi.
